Helnessund is a nice small place with approx. 400 inhabitants.

It lies midway between Bodoe and Lofoten.

A great place to stop if you drive or sail a boat north or south along the coast.

There are more and more people who find their way here by car, even if they have to travel through a 8000 meter long tunnel.

People have found out that it is a real nature experience.

The only thing we do not have is the great open plains, otherwise we have it all!

There are more and more tourists who experience Helnessund in real rough weather. They love it!
