When you turn off the main road 4 km. from Helnessund you will meet... a fireworks of a rabarbrakokk, host,
playwright, carpenter and much more. That is Lillian Selvik.

It is very nice walking in the woods of Skjelstad art and culture farm. There are several tracks. It is not only natural
you experience when you go slopes of Lillian. At the most amazing places art pops up, in the middle of nature. It pays
to go into a moderate pace and to look about, otherwise you miss half the experience.

See an overview of the tracks.

When you see how the feathers glisten in the sun, you understand why it's called a bronze turkey.

Dramatisation

From the drama “NILLEs TUR”. A walk in the area where Nille Jensdatter allegedly had concealed her illegitimate child after strangling it with a braided band. Nille was executed by the Church of Leiranger after a highly controversial trial. A ghost witnessed. The Nille case is mentioned in the book “Nordlands Trompet” by Petter Dass. The King tried to intervene, but was too late. Nille's head was already on a stake placed on the small island “Gjestholmen”. It was a horrible affair.
