The history of Kjerkflua.

A nice story:

My late grandmother Mildrid Aasjord told that she had walked along the ridge of Leines church in an age of one year. The explanation for this incident is that Mildrid grew up in the house closest to the church. The workers who built the church had a friendly relationship with Mildrid and her parents. The same day as the ridge was hoisted up and placed firmly at the top of the church roof, one of the workers came for Mildrid. He thought it would be a good story that she had walked along the ridge of the church.
It was not necessary to say that the ridge was on the ground when the year-old Mildrid was led from end to end.
